Community Shred Event

Alford Homeowner:
The time has come to renew your Transfer Station Permit for Fiscal Year 2024. The fee for the FY 24 permit is $50. Each residents and /or property owners MUST have a FY 24 Transfer Station Permit regardless of a contract you have with a private trash hauler.
FY 24 Transfer Station stickers can be purchased in several ways.
FY 24 stickers will be available for purchase at the June 17th shredding event (see below)
FY 24 stickers can be purchased at the Town Offices Monday-Thursday 8am-1:00pm.
FY 24 stickers can be mailed to you, by sending the enclosed form, a check for $50. Payable to the Town of Alford along with a self-addressed envelope to:

SOLID WASTE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Alford Community Shred Event on June 17th
The Town will be offering a Community Shred Event on June 17th from 9am to Noon. This is open to Alford residents and property owners only. You must have a current Transfer Station sticker. Fiscal 2024 stickers will be available for purchase. There will be a 2-box limit so everyone will have a chance to participate
The Transfer Station hours are as follows:
Tuesday’s from 7 to 12 Noon
Saturday’s from 8 to 12Noon
Please have your recyclables sorted and boxes broken down before entering the transfer station.
Please see the enclosed flyer recycling information or refer to the Town of Alford website for a list of what can and cannot be recycled. Note that Alford now offers sharps disposal in a bin located near the clothing-recycling bin.
