Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm (Non-holidays).

Fee Schedule:

  • GB/Housatonic: $7.00
  • Alford: $10.00
  • Monterey: $10.00
  • New Marlborough: $10.00
  • Stockbridge: $10.00
  • Trip Pricing North (as Far as Pittsfield): $ 5.00
  • Additional Stops (Only When Time Allows): $No Add’l Charge
  • Caregivers/spouses: $No Add’l Charge

By Calling 48 Hours in Advance, Transportation Is Provided to Medical Appointments, Shopping, Senior Center, and Other Essential Needs.

Appointments Must Be Scheduled Before 2:00 Pm in South County and by Noon for Appointments North of Gb. Messages May Be Left on Our Voicemail System, and Calls Will Be Returned by the Next Business Day.

Vans Are Equipped With Lifts to Accommodate Wheelchairs and Walkers.

If You Need Transportation Outside Berkshire County Call: The Town of Egremont and Egremont COA Has Received a Taxi Grant to Cover the Costs of Rides for Those in Need. This Grant Covers Seniors in Alford, Egremont and Mt. Washington. This Service Will Last Until December 31. To Schedule a Ride Call Peg Muskrat at the COA Office at 528-0182 ext. 16 Monday Thru Friday Between 9:00 a.m. And 4:00 P.m. The Phone Is Checked Frequently and Your Call Will Be Returned. For Planning Purposes, It Is Best, if Possible, to Call 24 Hours in Advance.
