Alford Children's Library

Overview

The Alford Children’s Library is dedicated to the memory of Susan Smith Andersen; it’s located in the Alford Town Hall. The Library is open on the Second Saturday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

It is a small Library and does not keep information concerning local genealogy; please contact the Massachusetts Library System and Ancestry.com for family genealogy information.

Although we do not have an adult library, free public Wi-Fi internet access is available. We also have a partnership with the Great Barrington Libraries, which allows our residents to obtain books through inter-library loan.

In addition, we purchase passes to the Norman Rockwell Museum, The Clark Museum, and Ventford Hall, which can be signed out by families for discounts on admission costs. Contact the Library officials to sign out a pass.
