Conservation Commission
Overview
The Conservation Commission is the official agency specifically charged with the protection of a community’s natural resources. Responsibilities include administering wetlands protection regulations and making recommendations on the planning, acquisition and management of property for conservation and passive recreation. The commission also advises other municipal officials and boards on conservation issues that relate to their areas of responsibility.
All Permit application are $250 not including State filing fees for Wetland Notice of Intent. This fee must be paid when the application is submitted to the Conservation Commission.
