Transportation Program for Egremont, Alford, Mt. Washington

Rides are available for medical appointments Monday thru Friday.  To arrange a ride you should call Melanie Torrico at the Transportation Department at 528-0182 x 25 or email transpdepart@egremont-ma.gov.  You need to give 48 hours notice when arranging a ride.Rider fees will be collected as follows:

Southern Berkshire County= $5/trip (each way)

Northern Berkshire County= (including Pittsfield) = $10/trip (each way)

Other area upon prior approval may require additional fees.

The town of Egremont has two drivers.  They are both local (one lives in Egremont and the other in New Marlborough).  They have had CORI checks, are insured and are ready and able to assist you.  At this time they are using their own vehicles until the town receives the van it has been awarded thru a grant.  There has been positive feedback for both drivers.
